For those of you playing here lately you've noticed a lot of work going on in the woods that are between holes 4 & 12. After several years of planning we've begun construction of 2 new golf holes that will become #11 and #12. The existing hole 12 will become #10. Once these holes are playable, probably sometime in the spring of 2009, we will begin construction of a practice facility located where 10 and 11 are now. Pictured to the left is the approach to what will be the new 11th green. The existing 4 tee is behind the row of trees.

You have also noticed that we have enlarged the retention pond between holes 1 and 9. This is the pond we use to irrigate the entire golf course. This will provide us with more water in the case of a drought which we have suffered this year. While doing this we used some of the dirt to increase the size of #8 tee which will now play as long as 190 yards. Also we recently increased the size of the white tee on 14 and the white/blue tee on 17.

None of this construction will interfere with the current 18 hole golf course. A very wet spring has delayed completion until the end of June. The new holes and practice facility planned opening is the spring of 2009.
